My name is Robert Omamo, but most people simply call me 'Bob'. I am a businessman, farmer, and long-time resident of Kileleshwa, where I have lived, worked, and raised my family for over 20 years. As a husband and father, I am deeply invested in building a safe, well-planned, and thriving community for current and future generations.
I was born into a family rooted in leadership and enterprise, and I was shaped by strong values of discipline, resilience, and service. My father, Dr. William Odongo Omamo, inspired in me a commitment to public service and community engagement, while my mother, Anne Omamo, instilled in me a deep respect for business, financial responsibility, and self-reliance.
I am an alumnus of Alliance High School and hold a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from USIU-Africa. My leadership journey began early, where I developed strong organisational and people-management skills that continue to guide my professional and community work today.
Growing up partly on a farm in Nandi gave me a grounded understanding of hard work, adaptability, and the realities many Kenyans face. These experiences shaped my practical, solutions-driven approach to leadership and strengthened my belief in service, accountability, and perseverance.
Kileleshwa is at the heart of my story. As a resident and parent, I have witnessed both the growth and the challenges facing our ward — from rapid development and traffic congestion to gaps in planning and infrastructure. These experiences are what motivated me to step forward and seek to serve as MCA.
I believe in accountable, present, and thoughtful leadership that puts residents first. My focus is on improving planning, strengthening infrastructure, enhancing safety, and ensuring that development works for the community. I am committed to listening, engaging, and delivering real results.
I am running to help make Kileleshwa a better, safer, and more liveable place for everyone — now and for the future.

My vision for Kileleshwa is to build a ward that grows with order — a modern, secure, well-planned, and liveable community where development improves the quality of life for everyone. Having lived in Kileleshwa for over two decades, I have seen both its growth and the growing pressure that rapid development has placed on infrastructure, planning, and everyday life.
Kileleshwa is changing rapidly, but many residents feel that growth is happening without proper planning, infrastructure, or accountability. Roads are congested, drainage systems are strained, flooding has become more common, and uncontrolled high-rise developments are putting pressure on water, sewer systems, security, and public spaces.
I believe development should be matched with proper infrastructure, transparent approvals, and meaningful public participation. Residents deserve to know what is being built in their neighbourhoods and to have a voice in shaping the future of the ward.
My leadership will focus on stronger oversight, better planning, improved drainage and road infrastructure, safer streets, cleaner public spaces, and more accountable service delivery from Nairobi County.
I also want to restore trust between residents and leadership by being present, accessible, and focused on results. Kileleshwa needs leadership that listens, follows up on issues, and works with residents, businesses, schools, and community organizations to find practical solutions.
Above all, I want Kileleshwa to remain a clean, green, inclusive, and well-managed ward where families, young people, professionals, workers, and businesses can all thrive together.
Kileleshwa is changing rapidly, and residents deserve a stronger voice in how the ward grows.
This movement is about better planning, safer streets, improved infrastructure, accountability, and preserving the quality of life that makes Kileleshwa unique.
Join the movement to support my vision—volunteer, share your ideas, attend community forums, support voter registration efforts, or help spread the message.
Together, we can build a more organised, inclusive, and well-managed Kileleshwa.
I sincerely thank everyone who turned out to register as a voter during the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise.
As affirmed under Article 38 of the Constitution of Kenya, every citizen has the right to exercise their political rights, including participating in free, fair, and regular elections. These rights can only be fully realised through voter registration, which remains the gateway to active participation in the democratic process.
Please note that voter registration services will continue at Mariposa Apartment, the Dagoretti North IEBC Constituency Office, up to three months before the General Election.
I encourage every eligible resident who has not yet registered or transferred their voter registration to take advantage of this opportunity and ensure their voice is counted.
Your Vote. Your Voice. Your Future.
